This website is dedicated to the recovery of St Albans and its city, Christchurch following a devastating series of earthquakes in 2010 and 2011. This service by the St Albans Residents' Association offers relevant local information. If you are from an organisation or a business and have essential information you would like to share with the community, then please get in touch by email to webspace@stalbans.gen.nz and we will endeavour to publish it here.
SARA also maintains two Facebook pages: one for the Newsletter which you can find at St Al bans News Facebook page and the other relates to the St Albans Community Centre.

Next Community Discussion
Tuesday 11 June 2013 @ 7.00pm-8.00pm. Venue TBC SARA hasn't planned anything for June due it being the middle of winter. But the SARA Management Committee do plan on meeting to discuss the strategic direction of the governance and management of SARA and the development of the St Albans Strategy. If you would like to have ongoing involvement in either of these please contact Emma at SARA@stalbans.gen.nz PS. there may be need for a public meeting on the unplanned, not decided (Yeah. Right!) motorway extension through your community. THIS AFFECTS EVERY PERSON LIVING IN THE ST ALBANS AREA The St Albans community discussions are about sharing general information and helping feed local knowledge into local planning and finding solutions to local problems.
