Edgeware Supervalue Supermarket reopened quietly on Friday morning. The previous building, in a former cinema, was demolished following the earthquakes in 2011 and the supermarket rebuilt from the ground up. The opening also marked the first outing of SARA’s new BBQ trailer -more about that later. |

This website is dedicated to the recovery of St Albans and its city, Christchurch following a devastating series of earthquakes in 2010 and 2011. This service by the St Albans Residents' Association offers relevant local information.
