The Community Boards Support Team provides advice and support to community boards. The Team also provides assistance to the people of Christchurch in being involved in local government in their relevant board area.
Community Board Advisers advise and support the boards in their decision-making. They also prepare reports and agendas, brief deputations to the boards, write minutes after meetings, action outcomes from meetings, and relay board decisions. Assistance is also provided by secretarial support officers.
