St Albans Residents’ Association update

Hello fellow St Albans Resident’s Association members. I hope this email finds you and your whanau safe and coping with the heartaches from our losses and the uncertainty of our futures.
The St Albans Resident’s Association is working hard to quickly connect the St Albans community after our latest disaster.  http://www.stalbans.gen.nz
We have changed our website into a “blog,” which is a term used to describe web sites that maintain ongoing recording of information.

We are aiming to connect the people of St Albans to their neighbours and to their local St Albans organisations and businesses.  In the short-term to provide a platform to find local information and to ask for and offer help and support to each other.

Long term aims are a little difficult to contemplate right now but I hope as time progresses it will enable St Albans to freely discuss options for rebuilding our lives, our homes, our streetscapes, our communities and our city.

If there is information you think should be included on the site let us know.  Feel free to feed your information through to SARA, communitycentre@stalbans.gen.nz and we will endeavour to post it as soon as we can.  Or you can comment on the site without having to join or join up.

Anyone who would like to know more about posting material or if you would like to volunteer to monitor a particular category please email me communitycentre@stalbans.gen.nz or phone 374 2465 and leave a contact phone number.

Our monthly meeting is on Tuesday 8th March @ 7.30pm.  Please let me know if you would like to attend as the venue will depend on numbers attending.

My best wishes to you all,
Emma Twaddell
