I’m proposing to make small artworks for people whose homes or businesses are red-stickered or red- zoned. I work with recycled materials (especially old wallpaper, linoleum, roofing metal etc) and the idea is to make a work representing the house and/or garden and where possible (but not essential) to use something (eg wallpaper) retrieved from the house. My motivation is to spread a bit of cheer, create a physical record of what’s being lost and salvage any heritage materials otherwise headed for the dump. Small donation towards extra materials gratefully received but definitely not obligatory, the only proviso being that I could borrow the works back at the end of the year for a possible exhibition.
