Road users turning into Fitzgerald Avenue from Bealey Avenue should note that for the next few weeks there will be just one right-turning lane. There will also be just one lane heading onto Fitzgerald Avenue from the Whitmore St/Hills Road side. The reason for the lane reduction is to safely replace the wastewater pipes on Fitzgerald Avenue up to the London St corner.
Further up Hills Road, the road is reduced to one northbound lane only from Dudley to Guild Streets, including the Edgeware Road intersection. Southbound traffic is detoured via Slater Street until August 20.
