High water table holds up pipework

The high water table is holding up wastewater pipe replacement work at the Bealey Avenue end of Champion Street and forcing a focus on Gresford Avenue end of Champion Street instead.

Work on the Bealey Avenue end will start again when the water level has lowered sufficiently. The work on champion Street is expected to be completed in about five weeks, according to SCIRT.
