Presbyterian Support is behind a new scheme to provide a sense of community for elderly in St Albans who may have been displaced by the earthquakes.
The plan, still to be rolled out in St Albans and Dallington, follows success in Rangiora four years ago and at St Ambrose Church in Aranui in the past couple of months.
The HomeShare programme helps the elderly to connect with others in their community have a hot meal and take part in social activities.
