And what would we do if it did. Jane Kelsey, a well known social and political commentator will address this topic during the Lincoln Efford Memorial Lecture at the WEA’s Gloucester Street premises on October 23.
Lincoln Efford was secretary of the Canterbury WEA, which stands for the Workers Educational Association, for many years. The organisation began in 1915, at a time when there were few adult education courses, to provide university level education to working men and women but based it on dialogue and not qualifications.
