Champion Street closed for three months

Wastewater pipe repairs on Champion Street, from Edgeware Road to Bealey Avenue means the street will be largely closed off to all except residents for the next few months.

Work begins shortly on the section between Edgeware Road and Gresford Street and is expected to take a month before moving in sections down towards Bealey Avenue. Residents are being forewarned about access, rubbish collections and when a ban on street parking is required. Deep trenches are expected to be dug and dewatering will probably need to take place.

This work will fix multiple breaks to the wastewater system.
