The St Albans Shirley Club in Hills Road will be closed for a day after being caught selling alcohol to non-members.
Chartered clubs are able to sell to non-members only if those non-members have been signed in first.
It is not known when the club will pause for a day, no doubt it will be notified. Several other chartered clubs were also caught out.
