Description: Join in the fun at this family event organised by young members of the Papanui Youth Development Trust.
Entry to the event is free and most activities are also free or low cost. These include sumo suits, sausage sizzle, bouncy castle, zorbs, coffee, prizes, games, craft stalls and live stage
Trust members have been assisted by the Youth Development Coordinator (working in partnership with Freedom Trust and Northgate Community Services Trust). The Youth Trust started this event following a spate of teenage suicides in Papanui, with the aim of providing information on places to go and things to do, but it has since evolved to include the whole family. This event is supported by the Shirley/Papanui Community Board.
