Christchurch City Libraries has relaunched their CINCH database of community groups on its own website at www.cinch.org.nz.
CINCH has a new address but the information may not be uptodate. The information is as good as the community groups supply. A quick look at the St Albans Community Centre lists some features (computers) and personnel (community worker) that have not been available at the centre for more than two years because the quakes made the residents’ association homeless (it remains so) although there is now a transitional centre.
A quick search of the database using St Albans as the keywords brought up 600+ records for groups that have St Albans in their organisation name or are based in the area.
