Abberley Park will stand in for Sherwood Forest when Harlequin Players produce the Adventures of Robin Hood for a week in mid January.
The musical written by playwright Roger Hall, contains lots of dancing and sword fights.
BYO picnic. There is a small charge to see the performances. Weekdays at 6.30pm and two performances on Saturday and Sunday at 11 and 2pm. The first performance is at 11am on January 13.
This is the only St Albans event included in the City Council’s summertimes programme. Harlequin Players used to rehearse in the old St Albans Community Centre.
