We received a query recently from someone in Mairehau about SARA or St Albans boundaries which raised a very good question.
This linked map shows St Albans boundaries. The original St Albans suburb included land as far as Rossall Street, now considered part of Merivale.
The shaded area on the map is the distribution area for the St Albans News, which covers Bealey Avenue to Innes Road and Hills Road to a ragged (no straight line) western border along Browns Road and Bristol Street. Houses within the shaded area receive printed copies of the newsletter in their letterboxes.
