Keen young soccer players have their own holiday programme at ASB Football Park (formerly known as English Park) in Cranford Street later this month.
Mainland Football is offering a number of sessions aimed at 7-10 and 11-14 year olds. Two sets have dates have been organised: one from April 22-24 and the other April 29-May 1. A girls only programme runs on April 22- 24.
Each session includes skill-based training, so kids can learn the tricks and techniques to become better players. There are also plenty of chances to play football games in a fun environment, and experience the thrill of putting those skills into practise.
The schedule follows school hours 9am-3pm. Each three day programme costs $90 or $35 for a single day. Discounts are available for two or more children from the same family.
