Cross lease properties and EQC

People living in flats without a body corporate are being encouraged to talk to neighbours about earthquake damage so EQC and insurance companies can get an overall picture. If your property is what is called ‘crosslease’ this involves you.

A year or so ago units in St Albans were in the news because two insurers decided it was a rebuild and two a repair, raising questions about how to resolve the situation.
