White flowers to mark International Women’s Day

Location: On riverbank opposite Noah’s Hotel
Time: March 8 at 10am
Description: Bring white flowers from your garden to scatter in the river to mark International Women’s Day. White flowers, particularly camellias, are a symbol of the campaign for votes for women, led by Kate Sheppard in the 1890s.
