A fun ride on Saturday, May 18 along the full length of Colombo Street aims to promote road safety and cycling as an everyday form of transport.
Cyclists can join anywhere along the route from 9am, as long as it’s not raining. In that case the event, organised by Spoke Canterbury, will be postponed a week. A range of different types of bicycles and cyclists of all ages are expected to come along for the ride.
Colombo Street, one of the longest streets in Christchurch, runs south to north, from Centaurus Road to Edgeware Road. So breakfast at Elevate, stop off for a spot of shopping and a coffee at Re:Start Mall and then lunch at Bailies?
