Negotiations have been taking place between CCC and the St Albans Residents’ Association and it looks like SARA will be back managing the community centre from October 6. It will take a while to get things up and running but we hope to see the return of the St Albans NeighbourNet computer room after a four year hiatus, among other features.
From mid 2012 the Lions-donated building has been managed by the Christchurch City Council, requiring a trek to the Papanui service centre to pick up and drop off keys.
