The council planner has recommended that the BP expansion go ahead, but with some conditions and nearby residents are not happy about the limited consultation and the continuing encroachment into a residential area but the commissioner is yet to make a decision. Other things are happening in the community – the consultation for the new community centre was completed in July, video stores are closing down all over including the two in Edgeware Village, Mainland Football want to get more women involved in football and the police have some suggestions on how cyclists can get on better with vehicle drivers.
