Replanting marks work completion

Replanting of the garden outside the gates of St Albans Catholic School with native plants by pupils and members of the Fletcher team marked the completion of roadworks in Rutland Street south of Innes Road. The gardens were removed to enable wastewater pipes to be replaced.

Fletcher Construction, part of SCIRT, worked in Rutland Street between Westminster Street and Innes Road for the past three months and now work has been completed traffic is now running freely around the shops, including Meshino Café. “SCIRT thanks all businesses, residents and the school community for their patience while the street was closed to traffic and for continuing to patronise local businesses.”
