If you travel south along Hills Road you will face a detour over the next five weeks as SCIRT replaces the wastewater pipes.
Traffic travelling north will not be detoured but will need to travel a bit slower than usual in the stretch of road between the Challenge garage and North Avon road. There will be no turning right into North Avon Road.
Residents may also face leaving their cars on the street but a distance from their houses and then walking to and from their residences.
Work is expected to finish in late February.
