TV extras sought for Chch EQ drama

Extras are needed for a new television drama series about the February 2011 earthquake. Email a head and shoulders photo to “>wirecasting@gmail.com along with contact details and you could end up on the small screen.

Gaylene Preston, who produced Home by Christmas, Bread and Roses and several other films, is in Christchurch directing a drama about the February earthquake. Gaylene’s script Hope and Wire is based on true stories of families who lived through the traumatic event and its (never-ending) aftermath.

If you belong to a club and would like to offer to be a group in the drama, you can also make contact through the email address.

Do not be surprised if you see a film crew on the streets in your neighbourhood. Filming has already begun and will continue until late April.
