Assistance to turn your TV digital runs out at the end of July.
the Going Digital Targeted Assistance Package, targeted at groups facing technical and financial difficulties in going digital. Eligible recipients get a Freeview set-top box, installation, training and technical support.
The package is available to people who have not already got Freeview, SKY or IGLOO, and who are:
- 75 and over with a Community Services Card
- receiving a Veteran’s Pension
- receiving an Invalid’s Benefit
- former recipients of the Veteran’s Pension or Invalid’s Benefit who moved to New Zealand Superannuation at Age 65 or over
People who have already gone digital do not qualify for the package.
