Christchurch Central MP Nicky Wagner wants to sponsor a young person from Christchurch to attend the annual Aspiring Leaders’ Forum in Wellington in July.
Each year around 160 young leaders meet together to discuss principles that underpin leadership. The forum in privately funded so is free for the young person to attend.
“If you know of a young leader in your community who you think is outstanding in their field and shows long term leadership capacity, please ask them to get in contact with me. Previous aspiring leaders that I have sponsored have found it to be an interesting and challenging experience and a great opportunity to learn and develop. Inspiring as well as aspiring!!,” the MP says.
