Edgeware Village retailers still doing it tough

Edgeware Village needs more businesses to replace several lost to the area after the earthquakes and ongoing roadworks are having a negative effect on those remaining, according to this article in the Press.

The Village needs more shoppers and key to that is replacing retailers who have left the area at the intersection of Edgeware Road and Colombo Street. This includes Kbs, the Medical centre and Mitre 10.

The Edgeware Village Business Group has $10,000 from the Canterbury Earthquake Appeal Trust to promote the area and encourage the 12,000+ locals to shop there, and others to visit.
