Mike Davidson has been made chairperson of the Shirley Papanui Community Board.
The St Albans resident leads a community board made up of two councillors, Ali Jones and Pauline Cotter and members Gemma Maslin, Emma Norrish, Aaron Keown and Barbara Watson.
The position does not necessarily to go the top vote winner on voting day -which was Aaron Keown. Mike was fourth, but has a background as a manager.
