Group taking action against EQC

A group planning to take legal action against EQC is seeking more residents to join the group action before the end of the month.

If you are unhappy with EQC, had damage labelled historic when you know it happened in September 2010 or February 2011, forced to take a cash settlement or accept a situation that does not reinstate the house to your satisfaction, then contact the group.

For more information check out the brochure (pdf format)

You can email eqcgroupaction@gmail.com, visit the Facebook site eqcgroupaction or phone 3790920. That phone number belongs to Anthony Harper, from the law firm that will take the action on the group’s behalf. It is expected that the action will cost householders, who join this legal action to challenge EQC, about $2000.
