Top Dog Theatre Company is staging Shakespeare’s Tempest at Mona Vale at 6pm until Saturday.
BYO seat, blanket and picnic, although refreshments are being sold on site.
Top Dog Theatre, which used to rehearse for a period in the real St Albans Community Centre before 2010, marks 10 years of productions this year.
The play, believed to be one of Shakespeare’s final plays, is set on an unnamed island. The weather outlook for Thursday to Saturday is sunny rather than tempestuous.
Tickets can be bought on site, online or pre-bought at the Court Theatre in Addington.
Note: a wedding will take place on the Iris lawn nearby at the same time on Saturday. Parking is available in surrounding streets. Early arrivals get the best views.
