The Canterbury Home Repair Programme, in its current state, will wind up in April 2015.
EQC and Fletcher EQR are working with customers to ensure that every home in CHRP is either repaired, underway or that the homeowner knows their settlement path by then.
However there are exceptions and this includes some people in the Flockton Area who have already chosen to defer their repairs until they know more about their land’s IFV or increased flooding vulnerability status.
These customers do not need to worry about the April 2015 date while they await further information. There will be some form of repair programme continuing in Canterbury and these customers are still able to book in for a managed repair when they have their land information.
In the meantime, if any of these customers do want to talk about progressing their claim, they are invited to contact the Westminster hub.
There is space at most hubs to book in for a repair over summer. Contractors are also available to work around customers who wish to have a partial repair and partial cash settlement, for example if they want to manage some of the repair themselves later.
Most of the CHRP deferred customers in Flockton with potential IFV have already had a detailed scope, which is the final scope prior to starting repairs; if not they can request the scope at no obligation of continuing repairs with Fletcher EQR.
