Description: Garden party being held to celebrate the launch of a book on Chippenham Lodge titled Chippenham Lodge – Linked in History. A heritage week event. Entry by donation.
The attractive Gothic house has a colourful and unique history. For the past 44 years it has been part of the co-operative living community, Heartwood Community. During that time, and before that, it has housed people who have played a prominent role in local and national politics, sport, medicine, agriculture and commerce. As well as heritage displays, entertainment and finger food, there will be an official book launch ceremony at 4.30pm.
