Vote of confidence from Christchurch City Council
By SARA co-chair Renee Walker Visibly displaying their confidence in the new shape and future direction of the St Albans Residents’ Association (SARA), the CCC and Shirley-Papanui Community Board have granted the Association $25,000 under the Strengthening Communities programme.

New heated pools planned for St Albans
The St Albans Pool and Pavilion group has lodged a resource consent to build two outdoor heated pools and associated buildings at 43a Edgeware Road, on the site of the pool demolished by the Christchurch City Council in 2006.
