International hub seeks market stall owners

The Canterbury Business Association is hoping to set up a temporary international hub soon in the city and is looking for people from different ethnic/cultural backgrounds to set up stalls on a daily basis for up to five years.

While enjoying a drink with friends in the Bailies Irish Bar recently, I noticed banners outside advertising the Edgeware Village website. However, when anyone tries to visit the website there is nothing there.

Bailies Irish Bar relocates to Edgeware Village

Things are looking up for the Edgeware Village. Bailies Irish Bar, which used to be in Cathedral Square in the now demolished Warners Hotel, has found a new home on the site of the former 1066 Bar and TAB.

Abberley Park’s quake damaged paddling pool has been repaired and was opened at the weekend for the summer season, which should put smiles of the faces of families with toddlers. Now if the weather would just play nice.
