Description: Community Law Canterbury presents a guide to ACC and welfare entitlements, employment rights and resolving issues.The morning session, from 9.30am – 12.30pm focuses on welfare and ACC, and the afternoon session from 1.30-4.30pm focuses on employment agreements and workers’ rights. Each session costs $10 or $15 for both but cost should not be a barrier for attending. Morning and afternoon tea are provided. Reflections from the Fukushima Disaster

Description: Crossways Church is hosting former intermediate school teacher Shinya Kawane from Saitama in Japan who educates citizens on the dangers of radiation. He undertakes research on the topic and has recently spent time in Belarus studying the effects on residents’ health nearly 30 years after Chernobyl.
