This seminar will cover medication interactions, medication induced dry mouth, Sjogren’s Syndrome, pre-surgery oral health, and access to dental care. Learn about affordable housing and community land trusts

Description: Dr Louise Crabtree, a visiting scholar hosted by Lincoln University, will give a talk on Community Land Trusts and affordable housing. She has been involved with such trusts in Sydney, Australia.Dr Crabtree’s research focuses on the social, ecological and economic sustainability of community-driven housing developments in urban Australia. She is interested in the challenges encountered in scaling up or replicating innovation in housing design and delivery in different contexts.

Yoga/pilates fitness class

Robyn Alderson is a non-profit, independent, community fitness instructor offering Yoga/Pilates pre-choreographed fitness classes in St Albans twice a week. More roadworks in Bealey Ave

Bealey Ave, from Champion Street to the intersection with Whitmore Street, will be down to two lanes heading eastwards for six weeks while SCIRT strengthens underground pipes. Also in Whitmore Road, traffic heading southwards is likely to come across roadworks.

CCC decides no public hearings for Edgeware Plan

No public hearings will be held for the draft Edgeware Master Plan Plan because 89 per cent of submissions are in favour of it.

The Shirley Papanui Community Board recommended that such hearings were not necessary because of the plan’s popularity and the city councillors accepted this recommendation.
