Cranford St/Westminster changes delayed
The Shirley Papanui Community Board has postponed the go ahead for alterations to the Cranford St/ Westminster St intersection, seeking further information from city council staff.
Wastewater repairs Innes Rd/Cranford St
Traffic may get even more congested at peak periods in Cranford St and Innes Rd for one week, while wastewater repairs are carried out in the area from January 19.

Petition launched for road arrows
Christchurch JP and Labour candidate Tony Milne has launched a petition for CCC to install turning arrows at the corner of Cranford Street and Innes Road.

Cranford Street frontages to shrink
Some businesses/residences in Cranford Street will lose their frontages to the proposed four laning highway, according to a CCC letter being sent out to St Albans residents.

Hills Road down to one lane
Don’t try heading south along Hills Road for the next month, it is down to one lane and it’s limited to northbound traffic. Detours will be in place for anyone heading south. Source:Scirt

Edgeware Rd intersection shaky
Land around the Edgeware Road/Barbadoes Street is still not stable despite repairs and local retailers are reporting a sunken manhole and increased shaking when heavy vehicles travel north or south.
