More housing design advice for Canterbury
The Government is funding a housing design advisory service in Canterbury to encourage rebuilders and renovators to design houses to deal with future disabilities. Senior Citizens Minister Jo Goodhew and Disability Issues Minister Tariana Turia announced the service recently.

BNZ now offers loans and insurance for new TC3 homes
The Bank of New Zealand now provides a full package of home loans and insurance for newly built homes in all Christchurch locations, except the red zone. This includes newly built TC3 homes.

Median house price in St Albans tops $400,000
The median house price in St Albans rose 26 per cent in the year ending February 2013 passing the $400,000 mark.
Earthship house made from rubbish
Christchurch’s first ‘Earthship’ will be revealed at a public open day at Tussock Hill Vineyard from 10am to 1pm on March 16.
